kayaking adventure. Traditionally relegated to cold ocean
touring, the sea kayak is a natural fit for the rugged
coastlines and warm turquoise waters of southern Italy. There
is nothing more relaxing and exilerating than being so close
to the sea surrounded by the majesty of so much untamed
nature.

families and co-workers can join us in an unforgettable
outdoor activity that is both fun and wholesome, all under the
guidance of our tour guides. At the same time

comfortable seaside accomodations, transfer connections for
your arrival and departure and the chance to experience Italy

beginners to advanced*.
Signing up
for our active vacation, does not mean missing out on the
things that make Italy one of the top holiday destinations in
Europe. Our all-inclusive* sea kayaking tours are in the
Cilento National Park which is perfectly situated near famous
attractions such as Pompeii, Capri, the Amalfi coast, Positano
and Paestum. Our midweek break from kayaking gives you the
opportunity to visit those well known attractions. You may
even consider an overnight visit to Rome. (About 4 hours away
by car)
For those
that would prefer to stay in Cilento during the break from
kayaking, we have organized a hiking tour in the rugged
hillside trails which are surrounded by ancient olive groves
and vineyards. Our mid-week hike will also take us to a
traditional agritourism restaurant to savour perfectly
prepared dishes made with locally grown vegetables, cheeses,
meats, and of course to be enjoyed with the obligatory glass
of home-made wine :-)
By special arrangement we can turn
the day-hike into a multi sport mini-adventure by going on a
bike tour or even horse back riding through the mountain
trails and along the river banks of Cilento.

*5 Days of Kayaking + 1 optional Hiking day - We
will average 3 hours of paddeling per-day - We use our "best
of class" sit-on-top sea kayaks instead of the
sit-inside type for a number of reasons. Good sit on tops
perform like traditional kayaks, but are easier to handle and
safer for beginner and intermediate skill levels, this in turn
makes our tours available to a larger group of people. Also,
in warmer weather it is preferrable to be able to take a
refreshing dip while on the sea. This is not easily achieved
with a traditional sit-inside kayak. Sit on Tops provide a
"wet" ride and appropriate clothing should be warn. Despite
the added safety, tour partecipants must demonstrate the
ability to swim prior to being allowed to join the tours, and
must not have medical conditions that would make paddling
deterimental to their health.
*Children under 14 years of age may not have the
necessary stamina needed to paddle for long stretches, we
regret to say that children younger than 14 years of age will
not be able to join the tours.
*Our all-inclusive adventures begin at 2250 Euros per
week per person and include seaside villa accomodations, most
meals, transfers to and from closest point of arrival in
Italy(Naples, Salerno, or nearby train station) as well as
transfers to the nearby fishing port for the high speed ferrys
to Capri and the Amalfi Coast. We can also design package
tours to fit almost any budget.
